3. Plan and conduct a three day Career Fair for either 10th, 11th, or 12th grade students in all seven counties.

    The career fair will give students the opportunity to explore Tech Prep careers in the different clusters/majors. They will speak with educators, employers, and students in the field.  Each student should walk away with a better understanding of Tech Prep and the Careers offered in each field. An assessment instrument will be developed and used to measure the knowledge gained from the session. 1,000 people will be invited.

     Conduct Parent Forums to better explain Tech prep Initiatives to parents. Business & Industry and parents should speak on TP as well as TP students.  Each county within the consortium will have access to a Parent Forum. All 8th and 10th grade parents should attend.  An assessment instrument will be developed and used to measure the knowledge gained from the session.
